MY CONFIDENCE!
 
"My son, let them not depart from your eyes – keep sound wisdom and discretion; so they will be life to your soul and grace to your neck. Then you will walk safely in your way, and your foot will not stumble. When you lie down, you will not be afraid; Yes, you will lie down and your sleep will be sweet. Do not be afraid of sudden terror, nor of trouble from the wicked when it comes; FOR THE LORD WILL BE YOUR CONFIDENCE, and will keep your foot from being caught." (Proverbs 3:21-26)

  1. Today I will live in the now! I will live in the now because I have the promise that the Lord is my confidence!

  2. Today I will walk in safety, with no fear of accident or calamity, for the Lord is my confidence!

  3. Today I will walk in progress on the path of my purpose — the Lord will not allow my foot to stumble! I will not fear failure or defeat, for the Lord is my confidence!

  4. Today I will walk in peace. Tonight when I sleep, my sleep will be sweet ("I will both lie down in peace and sleep; For You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety" – Psalm 4:8), for the Lord is my confidence!

  5. Today, in the event of a crisis, I will not fall apart. I will have the peace that passes understanding, and will keep my head about me knowing what to do and what not to do. My heart is established, so I am not afraid of bad news, remembering that things are rarely, if ever, as bad as they first appear. Today I will be a rock, for the Lord is my confidence!

  6. Today I will walk in liberty. The Lord will keep my foot from being caught in the snare of the fowler. I will stay free by staying smart, remembering that the Lord is my confidence!

  7. Today I will take on any challenge and will do more than I am actually capable of doing, because the Lord is my confidence. I will make His power known today, and today I will live in the now!
 
Father, help me walk in Your confidence today. In Jesus’ name, amen.
